Austin Ragans is a Proud Alumnus of Charleston Southern University



The current President of Ragans Medical, Inc., Austin Ragans, is proud to call himself an alumnus of Charleston Southern University. Austin Ragans attended Charleston Southern University from 2001 to 2003 and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Prior to enrolling at Charleston Southern University, Austin Ragans attended Montgomery College from 1999 to 2001 and completed the same degree program.

Charleston Southern University is located in North Charleston, South Carolina and was founded as Baptist College in 1964. Although the university is a private school with a small student body of less than 4,000 students, it offers an impressive array of programs from traditional business degrees to modern degrees such as music and worship. Charleston Southern University also offers graduate degrees in business, nursing, and criminal justice and education. Additionally, the school has numerous academic clubs, service clubs, and has a broad Greek life system.

Austin Ragans was drawn to Charleston Southern University for its academics and its sports. He played football in high school and was eager to continue his career in college. Austin Ragans played as a defensive back for the school team, the Buccaneers, in 2001 and 2002. In addition to his success with football, Austin Ragans also excelled in academics. He enjoyed the rigorous coursework that Charleston Southern University offers, and feels that his degree adequately prepared him for a career in medical device sales. Austin Ragans highly values his degree from Charleston Southern University, and couldn’t imagine completing his undergraduate degree anywhere else.
